Private beta

The Torax canvas is in private beta. Build a drama the way you'd wire a studio — node by node.

New · Episode splitter drops a whole season onto the board

Wire your story like a studio.

Drop a script node, split it into episodes, feed scenes into image, video, audio and 3D nodes, then compose the final cut — all on one board.

The nodes

Nine nodes, one production.

Every node is a real production step, not a wrapper around one prompt field. Hover a card to see what it does.

Made on the board

Every frame keeps its prompt.

Hover a tile to read what made it. Use the prompt and it lands in the composer above, ready to run.

Splitter

One screenplay in, a board full of episodes out.

Point the splitter at the full screenplay and it breaks the story on plot beats — full bodies, light boundary smoothing, so episodes end where the tension does. Each episode lands on the canvas as its own script generator node, ready to branch into its own shots.

  • Split on plot beats, not on page count
  • Detailed episode bodies, not one-line summaries
  • Every episode becomes a working node, not an export
Coverage

Block the scene in 3D, then shoot it.

The director console lets you build the scene in 3D and capture multi-angle shots from it. Decide the angle, the framing and the coverage while it's still geometry — then send the frames into the video nodes.

  • Build the scene in 3D
  • Capture multiple angles from one setup
  • Feed captured frames straight into the board
Director console
How it goes

Four steps.

Step 1

Write

Generate a script from a story or a character, or paste your own.

Step 2

Split

Break the screenplay into episodes on plot beats. Each one becomes its own node.

Step 3

Shoot

Wire episodes into image, video, audio and 3D nodes. Upload your own material wherever you want it.

Step 4

Compose

Send the approved shots to video compose and finish the cut in the project.

FAQ

Questions

Do I need a finished script to start?

No. Start from a story premise or a character and generate the script inside the story script node — or write it there yourself.

How do episodes get created?

The episode splitter breaks the full screenplay on plot beats and drops each episode onto the canvas as its own script generator node.

Can I use my own footage and images?

Yes. The image and video nodes both accept local uploads, so your material sits on the same board as anything generated.

Can I control how a shot starts and ends?

Yes. The video node supports first-frame and first/last-frame generation, so you set the endpoints of a shot instead of hoping for them.

Do I have to work in node graphs?

Only when you want to. Switch to the Storyboard view to read the same project as an ordered sequence of shots.

Where do I finish the edit?

In video compose, inside the project. Nothing has to be exported to a separate editor to be assembled.
